Two officials of the Indemnification Office in Wiesbaden were today suspended by the Hesse Ministry of Interior for making anti-Semitic remarks, including the by-now-well known: “Not enough Jews were gassed” epithet.
The two men were identified as Spatch and Bauer. Last month, following initial complaints by claimants against Spatch, he was transferred to another post but continued to work in the Indemnification Office until today.
