Leaders of the District of Columbia government and religious groups of all faiths last night honored the Jewish Community Council of Greater Washington at a celebration of its 20th anniversary. Isaac Franck, director of the council for ten years, was also honored.
Ambassador Abba Eban was among those who addressed the meeting of over 1,000 persons. A message from President Eisenhower commended the council’s promotion of community relations in the District of Columbia over the last 20 years.
