The West should endorse and facilitate the “path of active neutralism” which the Arab States are now pursuing, according to Alberto Folchi, Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs.
Signor Folchi, addressing the faculty of the Catholic College of Nazareno, declared that Israel is a political reality which the Arab countries must acknowledge with a view to transforming the present situation into a real and stable peace. He expressed the hope that Israel would offer “full collaboration” for a solution of the refugee problem.
