Against the opposition of Arab students who tried to break up the meeting, 3 0 German students at Bonn University today founded a new organization, the German-Israel Student Group, devoted to “the improvement of relations between the Federal German Republic and Israel. ” The University chancellery immediately issued a charter to the new organization.
After losing their fight against formatter of the new group, the Arab students distributed leaflets printed under the auspices of the Arab League delegation in Bonn, virulently attacking Israel as a state aiming at “world conquest and oppression. ” Jewish circles here expressed surprise over the fact that German authorities permitted the Arab League Delegation which has no diplomatic immunity, to spread its anti-Semitic propaganda.
