Former President Harry S. Truman was named today to receive the B’nai B’rith President’s Medal. The award will be presented at a luncheon honoring Mr. Truman’s 75th birthday. The luncheon will be tendered by Mr. Truman’s hometown friends and neighbors. Philip M. Klutznick, national president of B’nai B’rith, will bestow the award citing Mr. Truman for speaking “the blunt language of courage and greatness.”
