A 15-year-old high school student with a genius-level I. Q., was scheduled for psychiatric examination today after his four-student Nazi-style Bund was charged with breaking into and vandalizing a Cleveland Israel Bonds office.
The four youths, all of whose names were withheld, were accused of destroying mail, slashing an Israel flag and smearing swastikas on the walls of the Israel Bond office. Juvenile Court Judge Margaret Spellacy said she would not sentence the four youths until the leader was examined by a court psychiatrist and the other three completed writing essays on good government.
The four youths tried to distribute anti-Semitic literature among their 3, 000 fellow students at Collingwood High School. It was this material which led school officials to investigate and to act against the four "Bundists."
The leader, who has an I.Q. of 148, admitted he had made up a death list which included President Eisenhower, financier Cyrus Eaton and other notables. He told Judge Spellacy the group intended to "get rid of all the Jews and Communists. " He said he had made 300 threatening telephone calls to the Israel Bord office he and his companions, who addressed him as "The Feuhrer, " later vandalized.
