Israelis have moved heavy digging and dredging equipment into the Lake Huleh area in north-eastern Israel and resumed today the work of deepening and widening the drainage canals that are converting the area from a swamp into fertile farmlands. Work on the project was interrupted several months ago when Syrian Army forces opened fire on workers in the area.
