The cornerstone for a new, 110-bed, Jewish hospital, to be built through an appropriation of 4,000,000 deutsche marks by the City Senate, was laid here today. The municipality allocated the funds as compensation for the old Jewish hospital in this city destroyed by the Nazis.

The new hospital, it was announced, will serve patients regardless of their religious faith. The latest medical and technical equipment has been planned for installation in the new institution.
