A new animal house costing 50, 000 pounds sterling for the Department of Experimental Biology at the Weizmann Institute in Israel and a contribution of 275, 000 pounds to the Institute’s Central Endowment Fund were announced by Lord Rothschild at a dinner in honor of Abba Eban, former Israel Ambassador to the United States.
