Julian B. Venezky of Peoria, III., prominent Jewish leader has been named national chairman for special gifts by the Combined Campaign for American Reform Judaism. Mr. Venezky will head the drive for the solicitation of leading gifts in the effort for 1959-1960 which will open on July 1 with a goal of $3, 558, 000/ The nationwide religious campaign is headed by A. B. Polinsky of San Diego, California.
Funds raised through the Combined Campaign for American Reform Judaism are divided equally between its two beneficiaries: the Union of American Hebrew Organizations and the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, the only center for the training and ordination of Reform rabbis.
