C. J. C. Publishes Chronology of Major Events in Canadian Jewish History

A choronology of the major events in Canadian Jewish history has been published here in conjunction with the observance of the 200th anniversary of the settlement of the first Jews in Canada.

The author of the work, Louis Rosenberg, was commissioned by the Canadian Jewish Congress to write the history, which lists developments in the Dominion from the day a bare minyan of Jewish officers and settlers came with General Amherst in 1759.
