A check for $120,000 for the construction of a Histadrut hospital in Beersheba, was presented today to Pinhas Lavon, general secretary of the Histadrut, by David Dubinsky, president of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
The occasion was a reception tendered to Mr. Lavon at the union’s headquarters. The check completed the payment of $1,000,000 pledged for the 320-bed hospital by the union four years ago.
