A pair of peacocks, birds traditionally symbolizing Burmese royalty, were presented today to President Izhak Ben-Zvi on the eve of his state visit to Burma by U Tin Maung Gyi, Burmese Minister to Israel.

The President, who is leaving for Burma Sunday, will take an exchange gift to Burma of two white peacocks which are considered among the rarest specimens of the peacock family.
