Former U.S. Ambassador Edward B. Lawson, who served as American envoy to Israel from 1954-1959, has been named 1959 recipient of the annual “America-Israel Friendship Award” of the Mizrachi Women’s Organization of America, it was announced here by Mrs. Moses Dyckman, national president of the organization.
