Samuel A. Goldsmith, executive vice-president of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, was one of seven Chicagoans cited today by Loyola University in a Founder’s Day Convocation marking the university’s 89th anniversary. It is the first time the university has given such honors. Mr. Goldsmith was cited for “exemplary citizenship and outstanding contributions to the welfare of present and future college students.”
