The gravest anti-Semitic incident to occur in Daly so far, took place today in Leghorn, where unidentified hoodlums attempted to set fire to the house of Christian Democratic leader Gianfranco Meils, who was formerly press secretary to President Gronchi. The culprits, who attempted to ignite the building with kerosene-soaked rage, left a message, “swains friend of Jews.”
