Jewish Philanthropist Contributes $980, 000 to London College

The British-Jewish philanthropist Isaac Wolfson has made a grant of 350, 000 pounds sterling ($980, 000) for the construction and equipping of a laboratory for biochemistry and microbiology at the Imperial College of Science and Technology of London University. The new unit will be called the Wolfson Laboratory.
