British Newspaper Seeks to End Ban on Jews in Its Top Positions

The trustees of the Sunday Observer are seeking legal advice on the possibility of interpreting the newspaper’s trust deed to end a ban on employment of Jews and Catholics in top policy-making positions on the newspaper staff, David Astor, editor, disclosed today.
