The former President of West Germany, Professor Theodore Heuss, is due to arrive in Israel on May 3 for a three-week unofficial visit, it was reported here today. The invitation for the visit was extended to Professor Heuss by Ambassador Eliezer Shinnar, head of Israel’s Mission in Cologne.
Dr. Willem Drees, former Premier of The Netherlands, last night left Amsterdam with Mrs. Drees for a two-week visit to Israel at the invitation of the Israel Government.
