Pinhas Lavon, secretary general of Histadrut, the Israel Federation to Labor, was re-elected to his post today at a meeting of the Federation’s executive committee here.
The executive also elected Mrs. Yehudit Simhonit as head of Histadrut’s political department. Head of the women’s section of the Mapai Party, Mrs, Simhonit is well known in the United States, which she has visited as a lecturer. She succeeds to the post vacated recently through the resignation of Reuven Barkat.
