The Association of Americans and Canadians in Israel signed a contract today for the construction of 62 housing units for American settlers. The $1,000,000 project, which will be built by the Tel Aviv Construction Company, will be erected in a new fashionable development area near the Valley of the Cross in Jerusalem.
Funds for the construction loan and for mortgages are being provided by Hadassah, the Zionist Organization of America, the Canadian Zionist Organization, the Jewish Agency and the Israel Ministry of Labor.
