Two Moslems Join Board of Detroit Conference of Christians and Jews

Two leaders of the Islamic community in Detroit have been named members of the board of directors of the Detroit Round Table of the National Conference of Christians and Jews, They are the first Moslems in any chapter of the National Conference.

A spokesman for the interfaith movement said that the constitution of the organization listed as primary qualifications for membership “religiously-motivated men of goodwill” and added this would include Americans other than those of the three major faiths.
