Henry L. Zucker, executive director of the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland, has been assigned by the Joint Distribution Committee as a special consultant to JDC headquarters here, it was announced today. In addition to working with JDC officials here, and attending the annual conference of JDC country directors to be held here from October 31 to November 4, Mr. Zucker will visit with Jewish communities in Western and Central Europe to advise on communal work and development of joint activities.
This is Mr. Zucker’s third JDC European assignment. He served in Europe in a consultative capacity in 1957 and in 1958. This year’s assignment is to run until November 6.
