Stone, Kiesler Honored As U. J. A. Mission Starts Work in Israel

Two members of the United Jewish Appeal’s special 120-man study mission, which arrived here Tuesday for a 12-day study of conditions in Israel, received special honors, as the mission today managed to dovetail ceremonials and amenities with a program calling for a survey of the country and talks with high-level leaders of the Government of Israel and the Jewish Agency.

Dewey D. Stone, of Boston, was made an Honorary Fellow of the Weizmann Institute of Science, at Rehovoth ceremonies attended by Mrs. Vera Weizmann, widow of the late first President of Israel. Adolph Kiesler, Denver philanthropist, was guest of honor at a special dinner in celebration of his eightieth birthday.
