U.S. Mayors, City Officials Leave for International Parley in Israel

Seventy-five Mayors and other top municipal officials from cities throughout the United States left by air for Israel, to attend the 15th annual congress of the International Union of Local Authorities, which will convene for six days of sessions at Tel Aviv on November 16.

Dr. Maxwell Lehman, deputy city administrator of New York City, will represent Mayor Robert F. Wagner at the congress. Sherman P. Dukel, chief administrative officer of San Francisco, will represent that city.
