At the request of the United States, Israel has stopped all exports of eggs until January 1, it was revealed today.

Finance Minister Levi Eshkol gave instructions to that effect to the Israel Poultry Marketing Board, after exports exceeded the 300,000,000 egg limit established under the Israel-United States agreement providing Israel with surplus American grain fodder.
