Four Austrians accused of being neo-Nazis were convicted here today and given prison sentences, while six others were acquitted, after a ten-day trial in the Vienna District Court.
Konrad Windisch, charged with being the leader of the group, was sentenced to nine months’ imprisonment, while the three other convicted men received sentences ranging from three months to eight months in jail. All four found guilty had their sentences remitted, however, since they had already been imprisoned while awaiting trial.
