Plans have been authorized to name a new building for the Canadian Jewish Congress in honor of Samuel Bronfman, president of the Congress, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
The organizations national executive authorized plans for the new headquarters, to be built in central Montreal which will also serve as a National Cultural Institute housing the National Archives, a National Museum and the Congress Library. It will be called “The Samuel Bronfman House.”
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
