Minnesota State Legislature Names Jewish Chaplain; First in 102 Years

The first rabbi ever to serve as chaplain of the Minnesota State Legislature in its 102-year history, has been appointed by that boy for the current session, it was reported here today. He is Rabbi Bernard S. Raskas, of St. Paul, who was named jointly with Msgr. J.J. Cullinan, vicar of the Catholic Archdiocese of St. Paul, and will serve 45 of the 90 days of the session.
