The cornerstone for a medical institute for the treatment of children stricken with rheumatic fever was laid today in the town of Beisan, south of Tiberias. Ceremonies launching the construction of the new $56,000 building, which is being financed by the Australian OSE organization, were attended by Australian Ambassador McMillan and Mrs. Hava Scher, representing the Australian OSE.
More than 600 children suffering from rheumatic fever have been treaded by OSE institutions in Israel during the past few years, it was reported today by S. Wolf, OSE director in Israel.
