Professor Abraham Galanta, noted Turkish-Jewish historian, died here today at the age of 88. He was the author of some fifty books, most of them dealing with the history of the Jews or about Turkey and the Middle East. He served as a professor of history at the University of Istanbul and as a member of the Turkish Parliament.
