Two Jewish Nobel Prize Winners to Visit Latin American Communities

Dr. Moises Goldman, Argentine Jewish leader who is the chairman of the South American executive of the World Jewish Congress, today announced here that he has finalized arrangements for two Jewish Nobel Prize winning scientists to visit Argentina and other Latin American lands. They are Professor Selman A. Waksman of New York and Professor Boris Chain, the Scientific Director of the International Research Center for Chemical Micro-Biology in Rome.

The World Jewish Congress leader, who is on his way back to Argentina from Europe, met with Professor Chain while in Italy and then flew here to see Dr. Waksman. The two scientists will visit Latin American universities and medical schools and will consult with governmental health departments in the course of their visits.
