A series of regional training programs will be provided by the National Council of Jewish Women for the 2,000 women volunteers who manage its network of local educational and service projects, it was announced here today by Mrs. Charles Hymes, president, at the annual meeting of the organization’s board of directors.
Mrs. Hymes said the training programs, which will be carried out next spring in ten cities in various parts of the country, are designed to cope with “extensive needs to develop leadership skills because of the enormous growth in the council’s interests and services to the community during recent decades.”
