J.c.a. Decides to Assist Housing of Jewish Immigrants in Israel

A substantial program of continued support in aiding children and Youth Aliyah in Israel was one of the key decisions of the first meeting in Israel of the Council of the Jewish Colonization Association, the Association reported in a statement issued today from its headquarters here. Another decision was to assist in solving housing problems of Jewish immigrants.

Members of the Council observed with great satisfaction the “excellent results” being achieved in implementation of JCA programs both in colonies established by the JCA or with its participation, the statement said. Council members also expressed satisfaction about the consolidation projects now being undertaken in Israel in conjunction with the Jewish Agency.
