U.N. Secretary General Names Egyptian Delegate As Under-secretary

Omar Loutfi, representative of the United Arab Republic, who has a lengthy record of anti-Israel speeches in the United Nations, has been named as one of three new Under-Secretaries by UN Acting Secretary General

Loutti has served as legal counselor to the Egyptian delegation to the United Nations, permanent representative of Egypt and later of the United Arab Republic, his current post. In the latter capacity he has represented the regime of President Nasser on the Security Council, the Economic and Social Council and the Trusteeship Council.
