Bernard Newman Named Justice of New York State Supreme Court

Bernard Newman, former chairman of the New York City Republican Committee, was named by Governor Rockefeller last night a N. Y. State Supreme Court Justice, and was immediately confirmed by the State Senate. He succeeds the late Justice Henry Epstein, and will serve in his post for the unexpired term ending next December 31.
