Israel and the Ivory Coast signed yesterday a treaty of mutual friendship and agreement for cultural and technical cooperation as the highlight of the current state visit of President Felix Houphouet-Boigny.
The Ivory Coast President joined with Israel President Ben-Zvi in planting the first saplings in a 10,000-tree forest which is a personal gift of the visiting head of state.
