The Zionist Organization of Detroit voted a sum of $100 which was sent immediately to the Iranian Embassy in Washington to help relieve the sufferings of the many thousands who were made homeless by the earthquake in Iran. Judge Ira G. Kaufman, ZOD president, sent a message of sympathy to the people of Iran on behalf of the Detroit Zionists.
