An exceptionally wide range of export and investment opportunities exist in Israel, it was reported here this weekend by members of a United States trade mission who returned last month from a 25-day visit to Israel sponsored by the U. S. Department of Commerce.

The members of the group reported on the findings of the mission at a luncheon sponsored by the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce. They expressed the view that increased sales efforts in Israel would be well rewarded by increased trade. Hickman Price, Jr. Assistant Secretary of the U. S. Chamber of Commerce, praised Israel as a strong force for world progress.

In their report on the visit, the members of the mission which included business executives and Government officials, cited export opportunities in such products as computors, instruction machinery and consumer goods with especially broad prospects for electronics, machine tools, food processing equipment and automobile servicing equipment.
