Sidney G. Kusworm, Sr., 77, retired today after 41 years as chairman of the B’nai B’rith Commission on Citizenship and Civic Affairs. He founded the program in 1921, and was elected chairman every year since. B’nai B’rith president Label A. Katz commended Mr. Kusworm’s contribution to “the democratic institutions of our national life.” To succeed Mr. Kusworm, the B’nai B’rith commission today elected Soloman Rosenbaum, of Fitchburg, Mass.
