Eleven Jewish institutions, which were closed down by police two weeks ago as part of a general crackdown on leftist groups, were allowed to re-open today. None of the affected institutions were affiliated with the DAIA, the representative body of organized Argentine Jewry.

Among the Jewish institutions affected by the temporary ban were the JFT Yiddish Theater, a publishing house, two cultural centers and four schools located in Buenos Aires.
