More than 10,000 Cologne boys and girls leaving school at Easter will each receive from the municipality a book on Israel’s history, geography and economic development written by Johannes Giesberts, the city’s chief education officer. Mr. Giesberts has been organizing the school children’s study tours of Israel for some time.
