Diplomats representing 32 nations, a representative of the Soviet Foreign Ministry and some 400 members of the Moscow Jewish community attended yesterday a memorial service for the late President Izhak Ben-Zvi of Israel at the Moscow Central Synagogue, it was reported here today.

The service, which was entirely in Hebrew, was conducted by Moscow Chief Rabbi Yehuda Leib Levin, who chanted a prayer for the Soviet Government and for the world. Israel Ambassador Yosef Tekoah recited the kaddish. Among the diplomats attending the service were United States Ambassador Foy D. Kohler and British Ambassador Sir Humphrey Trevelyan.
