The Church of Scotland today issued a statement “deploring” anti-Semitism and denouncing all racial and religious discriminations. The statement was part of a report by the Scottish church’s “Church and Nation” committee.
The statement, condemning “all incitements to contempt or hatred of persons because of their color, race or creed,” declared: “The Church of Scotland must always make abundantly clear that she stands by the side of all who suffer.”
