The Women’s League for Israel, which is raising $500,000 for the Student Center now under construction on the central campus of the Hebrew University, presented a $50,000 check for the project to Eliahu Elath, president of the Hebrew University, prior to his return to Israel.
With its latest gift, the Women’s League for Israel has transmitted $250,000 to the Hebrew University for the Student Center, which will consist of a student activities building, an athletics building and a student organization building.
