Two Jews Named to High Posts at State University in Holland

Two Jewish scholars have been appointed to high posts in Utrecht State University, according to announcements made here today.

Prof. Herman Freudenthal, a noted mathematician, has been named vice-chancellor of the university. Prof. Lodewyk Hymans Vandenberg, a well-known jurist, has been designated secretary of the institution’s academic senate.
