Brazil’s President Joao Goulart today issued Rosh Hashanah greetings to the Jewish community of this country. In his special New Year message, the President lauded the Brazilian Jews who, he stated, “have made their contribution to the welfare of the Brazilian Fatherland through their labors in trade, industry, science and artistic endeavors.”
