The Hebrew University announced today that a Chair of Biblical Studies has been endowed at the university in memory of Dr. Yehezkiel Kaufmann, late Professor of Bible, by Mr. and Mrs. Clarence W. Efroymson of Carmel, Indiana.
The Efroymsons gave $150,000 for the endowment. The announcement was made at a Kaufmann memorial meeting held at the university.
