Gifts to Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, Inc., Hadassah Medical Relief Association, Inc., and all Hadassah chapters remain tax deductible under the recently issued Internal Revenue Service regulation concerning the deductibility of charitable contributions to American philanthropic organizations with overseas programs, Mrs. Siegfried Kramarsky, national president of Hadassah, announced today.

“The tax exemption status of Hadassah.” she said, “is not changed in any way by the publication of this ruling, and, accordingly, contributions made to Hadassah by individuals, corporations, foundations, or any other body or bodies, continue to be tax deductible as heretofore. Hadassah has always been, and continues to be, in control of its activities in Israel and is, in every respect, operating within the requirements of the Internal Revenue Service.”
