Deputy Presidential Assistant Myer Feldman has been appointed President Johnson’s chief legal counsel, it was announced at the White House today. He will also continue to serve in the capacity of Deputy Special Counsel.
Mr. Feldman was appointed Deputy Special Counsel by the late President John F. Kennedy. When President Johnson took office, Mr. Feldman was asked to continue in his White House post and he has done so.
